The grieving parents performed one last good deed in her name and donated the five-year-old’s organs.

Aurora Masters died on May 13 after a bizarre accident in which she strangled herself on a swing just five days earlier.

According to Masters’ family, Aurora suffered fatal brain damage and turned off her life support machines after the accident.

Tom and Krystal Masters confirmed that their organs were donated to Donor Alliance, an organization that “facilitates the process of organ and tissue donation for transplant throughout Colorado and most of Wyoming.”

“We know Aurora’s heart is beating somewhere,” Krysal said, with Tom adding that living with it “really helps” them despite their grief.

The parents of five-year-old Aurora Masters now know that their beloved daughter’s heart is beating somewhere after she donated her organs

The family describes it as a final act of kindness from a little girl who always wanted to help and take the lead.

“I’m proud of my daughter,” Krystal told KUSA. “I was already proud, but she’s still giving.”

Her family and friends continued to show how much they loved her in a GoFundMe campaign that raised over $30,000.

“Our sweet Aurora Rae has once again shown her ninja prowess and teamed up with the Donor Alliance to distribute her gifts. She is proving the qualities of a black belt,” they wrote.

The family will hold a service for Masters on Saturday, June 8, at a local church.

“Our hearts are broken and we continue the journey to honor and celebrate their worldly gifts.”

Aurora of Fort Collins placed her small plastic slide next to her plate swing while playing in the yard of her family’s well-kept home.

However, as she slid down, her neck got caught in the ropes of the swing.

Her brain was not receiving enough oxygen and doctors at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora gave her the terrible news on Saturday that she would not survive.

The family gathered around the Masters, with 19 members traveling from the states of Wyoming and Nebraska to be at Aurora’s bedside.

“We know the power of the family,” Kennedy said.

According to the GoFundMe page, the five-year-old girl was pronounced dead on May 13.

The family is struggling to understand how the accident happened.

But it seems to have happened when the child was innocently playing outside alone.

“She pulled her little plastic slide to where her swing was and somehow got caught in the swing and the swing strangled her,” her aunt Kennedy told Fox 31.

“Due to the injury, her oxygen supply was limited,” the family explained.

After her death, Father Tom spoke about how Aurora had given new impetus to his life after her birth.

“She came when I was in a really bad mental hospital,” he told the Denver Post. “It felt like there was something almost magical about her.”

“I keep hearing stories that she was like that to everyone,” he added.

“She was literally just having fun, going around, bringing her light and giving it away for free.”

Krystal says she hopes her daughter’s story encourages other families to adopt their children.

“I guess what I would say to parents is: Love your child every minute, have a dance party and just live your life. Because you never know when it’s going to end.”
