1 dead in shooting at Exposition Park – NBC Los Angeles

One man was killed and another was hospitalized after a shooting in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park on Saturday afternoon.

The shooting was reported around 2 p.m. near Browning Boulevard and Budlong Avenue. The victims were in a vehicle when they were shot by someone in an older-model white Toyota sedan who left the scene, police told City News Service.

Video obtained by NewsChopper4 appeared to show the victims’ car covered by a tent in a yard outside a home in a neighborhood south of downtown Los Angeles.

One man died at the scene of the accident. The second was taken to hospital, but further details about his condition were not immediately known.

Both are probably in their twenties.

Details about the cause of the shooting were not immediately available. No arrests were reported.
