Motorcycle crash in Grove claims life of Vinita man | KSNF/KODE

GROVE, Oklahoma – A Vinita man has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, according to Police Chief Mark Morris.

Ford Mclain-White, 22, died on May 28, according to an accident report.


McClain-White was driving north on Main Street around 3:30 p.m. on May 27 when he passed several vehicles in the outside lane before approaching 18.th road intersection.

A witness reported that McClain-White appeared to be driving at a high rate of speed and ran a red light at Main Street and 18.th A vehicle collided at an intersection.

Mclain-White was thrown from his motorcycle and flown by helicopter to a hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

The investigating officer noticed an alcoholic odor coming from a broken vodka bottle found in Mclain-White’s backpack, the report said.
