Stockton police arrest several people in unsolved murder cases

(FOX40.COM) — Stockton Police recently made several arrests in separate unsolved murder cases.

Murder on April 6

According to Stockton police, a man was found with a fatal gunshot wound in a vehicle that crashed in the middle of a roadway on April 6.


After an investigation, a search warrant was issued for 18-year-old Jadari Benson, according to SPD. On May 6, Benson was stopped, arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.

On May 24, a second 18-year-old man, Rafael Galvin, was also arrested in Long Beach for alleged connection to the murder. Police extradited him to San Joaquin County on May 28, where he was booked into jail.

Murder of March 22

On March 22, SPD responded to a welfare check in the 4100 block of Logan Lane. Upon arrival, officers found a woman in her 20s suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to SPD, after an investigation, investigators issued an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Francisco Ramirez, who was contacted by Border Patrol agents. He was arrested Tuesday and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of murder.
