1 adult and juvenile arrested after shooting in Fort Pierce: Police

Shootings in the city of Fort Pierce led to the arrest of an adult and a juvenile on Sunday evening.

According to the Fort Pierce Police Department (FPPD), officers responded to North 22nd Street after receiving reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived, police received a description of a vehicle connected to the incident.

A short time later, an officer located the suspect, which led to a short chase that ended on Wilkins Avenue. During the chase, officers observed items being thrown from the vehicle. Pieces of the items were collected and were determined to be parts of a disassembled firearm.

The chase led to the arrest of 18-year-old Arzick J. Brown and a 17-year-old boy. Both were taken into custody and charged, police said.

According to police, no one was injured in the incident.
