Former employee of San Vicente Bungalows accuses her of sexual harassment

A young woman was stationed outside a glamorous Hollywood venue holding a sign saying she had been sexually harassed at the hotspot.

Elegantly dressed 26-year-old Anazia Akhalu, who is black, Picket lines in front of the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood and held up a sign claiming to have been sexually harassed at the hotspot. According to The Hollywood ReporterShe was seen carrying a sign that read, “I was sexually harassed at San Vincente Bungalows” and had been protesting for about a week.

Akhalu already worked at this place for more than a month last winter. She claims that the maître d’, 74-year-old Dimitri Dimitrov, who has been Hollywood scene, has acted inappropriately towards her. She accuses Dimitrov of, among other things, “squeezing my waist and arm” and looking her “up and down”.

Although Dimitrov and property owner Jeff Klein declined to comment, a spokesperson for San Vicente Bungalows issued a statement. “SVB investigates all allegations of harassment and discrimination, whether substantiated or not. SVB does not tolerate such behavior and promotes an environment free of harassment and discrimination.”

Dimitrov has been working for Klein for several years and previously worked at another famous Klein venue, the Sunset Tower, before starting work at the San Vicente Bungalows in 2018.

Local sources have said the club has a history of firing staff and members when harassment allegations are found to be substantiated, and questioned why Akhalu waited several months before coming forward with her allegations against Dimitrov.

Akhalu has explained that she was previously afraid to report the incident because “Jeff Klein is a huge mogul – I felt so helpless,” but she recently reported the incident to the police. “They didn’t do anything either,” she says. “I feel silenced.”
