Identity of fatal ATV accident announced Monday

Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook released the name of the victim of an ATV accident Monday evening.

Nathan Weeks, a 22-year-old man from Angola, NY, was killed at the intersection of East 26th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

The ATV was traveling north on Pennsylvania Avenue when it ran a stop sign and struck the side of an oncoming vehicle.

According to Deputy Police Chief Rick Lorah, the man was thrown from the SUV, suffered a large cut to his neck and lost a lot of blood.
