Tadej Pogačar: I didn’t follow Ganna’s attack because I was too poorly positioned

After three consecutive attack phases in the Giro d’Italia, you might think that Tadej Pogačar would never stop pushing hard on the road in this year’s race.

Even though the leader finally took things a little easier on the fourth stage, it wasn’t because he suddenly lacked the motivation to test his rivals, but simply because Pogačar wasn’t in the right place and time to do it.
