How AWLN is Changing Atlanta Communities, One Watershed at a Time – Grady Newsource

The Atlanta Watershed Learning Network is a program that promotes environmental change through the power of education. The program brings together residents of metro Atlanta and helps them gain the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for equitable development.

Through training modules and a six-month course, students learn the causes of flash flooding in urban neighborhoods and the solutions they can use to improve their local economy, their larger river system, and the health of their community.

Learn how AWLN empowers its members to become leaders of change for a cleaner, more equitable future.
