2 dead in morning shooting in Dayton

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, Dayton police Maj. Brian Johns said.

A 911 caller reported that there were two gunshot victims in the home, according to emergency dispatch records. The caller said they heard the shots and hid in the house.

It is not clear if any suspects have been identified or if anyone has been taken into custody.

Shaftesbury Road is closed in the area as police continue to investigate.
