Kannada actor Chetan Chandra found himself in a disturbing situation on Sunday evening when he and his mother were attacked by a gang of around 20 people in Kaggalipura, Bengaluru.

Chetan narrated the harrowing experience in a video shared on social media and revealed that the attack took place when they were returning from a temple. In the video, the actor was seen with blood stains and a broken nose.

According to Chetan Chandra, the incident occurred after a man who appeared to be drunk damaged his car. Chetan approached the person about the car damage. However, the situation escalated when a large group of about 20 people, including a woman, gathered and initiated the attack.

On the Instagram Live, Chetan spoke about the injuries he sustained and highlighted the severity of the attack. Despite a warning from police, the gang returned and damaged his car again, adding to the trauma of the ordeal.

After the attack, Chetan Chandra immediately sought legal action by filing a police report. The case has been registered at Kaggalipura police station and investigation is underway. It was speculated that the incident was due to road rage fueled by the defendant’s drunken state.
