One dead in shooting at Ware Shoals Dragway – The Laurens County Advertiser

Officers with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting Saturday at Ware Shoals Dragway that left one victim dead.

The LCSO said on its social media that there was a large police presence in the area off Highway 25 in Laruens County at the drag strip and urged people to avoid the area.

The Laurens County Coroner’s Office confirmed one person was deceased.

According to the Ware Shoals Dragway website, the “Best of Both Worlds Car and Bike Show” took place today starting at 3 p.m. The event included a car and bike show as well as racing, a flyer on the website said.
