Two motorcyclists killed in road accident in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, May 11, 2024 (BSS) – Two motorcyclists were killed and another injured when an unknown vehicle hit their motorcycle in Bymile area under Konabari Police Station on Gazipur-Tangail Highway.

The deceased were Monzur Sarker (38) from Mymensingh district and Ehosan Hasan (42) from Bogura district. They used to live in the metropolis of Gazipur. They were engaged in Jhut business.

Locals said the accident occurred in the Bymile area on the highway at around 9pm last night. Monzur Sarker and Ehosan Hasan died at the scene. The injured person was taken to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College and Hospital.

Konabari Thana officer-in-charge KM Ashraf Uddin said the vehicle that hit the motorcycle could not be identified.

A lawsuit was filed in this regard.
