Traffic accident in downtown Atlanta

ATLANTA — A crash caused delays early Monday morning south of downtown Atlanta on I-75/85 South.

It happened just after Central Ave./Fulton St.

Initially, two lanes were closed, but by 6 a.m. all lanes were closed. It is unclear whether this was a temporary measure to clear the bridge.

The Georgia Department of Transportation estimated the end time of the situation at 6:30 a.m.

Delays stretched from downtown to Decatur Street.
