Rollover accident in Tooele – Tooele Transcript Bulletin

A rollover accident at the intersection of 200 W. 1000 North in Tooele City caused traffic delays and one injury on the evening of July 9.

On the evening of July 9, at the intersection of 200 W. 1000 North in Tooele City, a vehicle overturned after colliding with another vehicle.

Tooele City Police officers were dispatched to the area around 6 p.m. When they arrived, they learned that a black Jeep Wrangler had collided with a Cadillac CTS at the intersection and then rolled over, according to Cpl. Colbey Bentley, Tooele City Police spokesman.

After the rollover, one of the occupants of the Jeep had to be rescued by the fire department. The person was taken to hospital. Their current condition is unknown. No other serious injuries were reported.

Bentley said lanes in the area were closed for about an hour.
