Oklahoma City police investigate multiple shootings

JONATHAN. THANK YOU. WE’LL BRING YOU BACK TO THIS BREAKING NEWS THAT’S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. A LOT OF POLICE ARE ON THE SCENE INVESTIGATION INTO A SHOOT NEAR SOUTHWEST 44TH AND DOUGLAS. SEVERAL POLICE ARE ON THE SCENE RIGHT NOW, AS WELL AS OUR KOC-O’S CAMERON SIBERT CAMERON. THEY JUST ARRIVED THERE. WHAT CAN YOU TELL US SO FAR? YES, WE JUST WENT OVER TO THAT CRIME SCENE. THAT’S THE INTEGRIS ON WESTERN AVENUE. I’LL MOVE TO THE SIDE. THERE’S A LOT TO PIECE PIECE HERE. YOU SEE THE POLICE ARE HERE AT THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ENTRANCE. THAT CAR, THAT BLACK LIMOUSINE THERE, IS ACTUALLY PART OF THAT INVESTIGATION. WE WERE TOLD THAT A JUVENILE VICTIM WAS IN THAT CAR WITH A SUSPECT WHO PULLED A GUN, SHOT AT THEM AND THEN THE VICTIM WAS BROUGHT HERE TO THE HOSPITAL IN NON-LIFE-THREATENING CONDITION. WHILE THE POLICE WERE HERE FOR THAT INVESTIGATION, GUNSHOOTING STARTED ACROSS THE STREET ON 43RD STREET. SO POLICE RUSHED THERE TO A SEPARATE CRIME SCENE WITH AN UNRELATED FULL INCIDENT AND MADE AN ARREST. A PERSON WHO LEFT THE HOUSE WAS FINALLY ARRESTED. SO THEY’RE STILL AT THE SCENE BECAUSE THIS BLACK SEDAN IS BEING TAKEN FOR EVIDENCE. IT’S BEING SEIZED. Police are still investigating. So there’s a lot to sort out as more information continues to come in. The victim was taken to the hospital here around 4:00 this morning. We’re told his condition is not life threatening so he’s expected to survive. We’re going to continue to talk to police and sort out some of the things that happened this morning. But they say the shooting across the street is not related to this incident. So we will continue to talk to them and bring you the latest information here.

Police respond to shooting at southwest OKC hospital while investigating another shooting

According to police, the two crime scenes are separate incidents.

Police were at a southwest Oklahoma City hospital early Wednesday morning investigating a shooting when they heard gunshots at a nearby home. Get the latest interesting news by clicking here. The investigation began after police told KOCO 5 that a shooting victim showed up at Integris Southwest Medical Center around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. According to police, a juvenile victim met a suspect through social media and was “hanging out with them” when the suspect pulled out a gun and tried to steal the car. The suspect then shot the victim, got out of the car and ran away. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. While investigating at the hospital, police heard gunshots coming from a home across the street along Southwest 43rd Street near Douglas Avenue. Police were at a hospital in southwest Oklahoma City early Wednesday morning investigating a shooting when they said they heard gunshots at a nearby home.

The investigation began after police told KOCO 5 that a shooting victim showed up at Integris Southwest Medical Center around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to police, a juvenile victim met a suspect through social media and was “driving around with them” when the suspect pulled out a gun and attempted to steal the car. The suspect then shot the victim, got out of the car and ran away.

According to police, the victim suffered injuries that are not life-threatening.

While investigating at the hospital, police heard gunshots coming from a home across the street along Southwest 43rd Street near Douglas Avenue. Officers rushed to the scene and positioned themselves outside a home.

According to police, a person came out and denied hearing gunshots. Officers arrested the person for meth possession and stated they were no longer looking for a suspect.
