What you need to know: Give 716

BUFFALO, NY — Give 716 is a 36-hour fundraiser hosted on July 16 by the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres Foundation to unite the community through a giving event.

It was created “with the goal of mobilizing the generosity of our community and building a more united and prosperous Western New York for all by providing a way to come together one day, our day,” according to the organizer’s webpage.

Over the past three years, Give 716 has raised more than $3 million for local nonprofits in Western New York.

Various incentives will be offered to donors throughout the fundraising event.
