Free concerts in the Buffalo area this summer

Summer is a great time for live music lovers. You don’t have to spend a dime to enjoy the many free community concerts that showcase the best of local and regional music in parks throughout the Buffalo area.

Come see them on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, where you can hear rock and classic rock, country and jazz, among other styles. The Buffalo Philharmonic also hosts free concerts on various dates throughout the summer. So grab your blanket and folding chair and head out to these free concerts.

Wednesdays

Bassett Park Summer Concert Series, 359 Klein Road, Amherst.

Wednesdays at 7pm at the park, located at the corner of Klein and Youngs Streets. In case of rain, concerts are moved to the small gymnasium at the Clearfield Community Centre. Chairs and blankets are welcome.

Wednesday Canal Concert Series. Gateway Harbor Park, North Tonawanda.

The classic rock concert series runs from 6pm to 10pm on Wednesdays. No outside food or drink, but food, alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages are sold.

The Blue Thursdays of Medina
