Police: Youths escaped from youth detention center on July 4

ST. LOUIS – Police are searching for two teenagers who escaped from the St. Louis juvenile detention center on July 4.

According to Sergeant Charles Wall, a spokesman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers received a report around 2 p.m. Thursday that two boys, ages 16 and 15, had escaped from the detention center in the St. Louis Family Court building.

No further information has been released.
