Man dead after shooting in Carrick

According to Pittsburgh police, a man died Saturday evening in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

First responders found the man at around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Olivet Avenue and Antenor Avenue in Carrick

He was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The investigation is ongoing.
