Victoria Gold responds to mining incident and stops production

Victoria Gold (TSE: VGDX) has released an update.

Victoria Gold Corp reported an incident at a heap leach facility at the Eagle Gold Mine, where there were no injuries and proactive environmental measures were taken. The Company is in contact with regulators and has experienced a production suspension, withdrawn its 2024 production and cost guidance, and reached agreement with lenders on default notices. Further updates are expected from the Company within the next week.
