Woman arrested after shooting man during domestic violence incident, deputies say

According to Clarendon County officials, 27-year-old Carrie Woodberry is accused of shooting 28-year-old Abram Walker Jr.

CLARENDON COUNTY, SC (WOLO)– Officers arrested a woman in connection with a fatal shooting Tuesday, Clarendon County officials say.

According to Clarendon County officials, 27-year-old Carrie Woodberry and 28-year-old Abram Walker Jr. were involved in a domestic violence incident at the Quality Inn on Paxville Highway when Woodberry shot Walker.

She was taken to the Clarendon County Detention Center where she awaits arraignment.

The incident is currently under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office at 803-435-4414 and ask for the Investigations Division.
