Dale Earnhardt Jr. comments on the physical altercation between Bubba Wallace and Aric Almirola that led to the suspension

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is in no hurry to learn all the details of the reported dispute between Bubba Wallace And Almirola, I am Almirola. In the latest episode of Download Dale Jr.Earnhardt shared his thoughts on the ordeal and why he doesn’t need to know what happened.

“I don’t think we’ll ever really know,” Earnhardt said. “I could probably call Denny (Hamlin) and said, “Tell me the news, and he told me. Out of respect for Bubba and Aric, it’s probably best if they tell the story if they ever want to.”

“…The atmosphere in that room must have been really heated. If I had to guess, I would say there were probably a dozen people in that competitive meeting. So there are a lot of witnesses, a lot of people who see this all start or whatever happens. I would trust their judgment and the judgment of Joe Gibbs Racing to make the decisions and handle it the way they think it needs to be done. If it was suspending Aric and pulling him out of the car, then I trust that’s what needed to happen.”

Earnhardt went on to talk about Almirola and how unfortunate the reported altercation was for him, as he was seen as the instigator. “I hope they can get this all cleared up and cooler heads prevail and Aric can enjoy the rest of the season and then possibly get a few more wins before he officially retires altogether, whenever that may be,” Earnhardt said.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. doesn’t need to know what happened to Bubba Wallace and Aric Almirola

“I don’t know if I need to know what happened in that room. Jordan Bianchi of The athlete has officially announced that something did indeed happen. It was a physical altercation between the two and Aric was considered the one who instigated the whole thing. I guess that’s all we’ll ever know. That’s fine with me.”

Almirola’s suspension is expected to be lifted soon and he will return to racing in the Xfinity race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 20. Before the Nashville Cup Series race, Wallace was questioned about the alleged altercation between him and Almirola.

“They don’t want me to go into detail. I want some people to have a good image,” Wallace told FOX’s Bob Pockrass. “I think I said enough in Charlotte last year. So, all in all, life is good for me. This crap happened over a month ago. A lot of good things have happened to me, and that’s what I’m focused on.

“I’m focused on getting our stuff back in order and you know, off the track, I’m focused on my wife and my little boy who’s growing and growing, so that’s all you can really ask for. So off the track, things are going well for me. On the track, not so much. That’s what we’re focused on right now. So, there you go. That’s the only question you’re going to get.”
