According to the sources, the airport operator is planning to temporarily shift operations from T1 to T2 and T3 and departures from T1, which only serves domestic flights, have been suspended till 2:00 pm.

Shortly after the roof collapsed, departures were suspended. The travelers who had already entered the terminal boarded their flights. At around 7:30 a.m., all departures were suspended completely.

According to the sources, there was no impact on incoming flights. The DAIL spokesperson explained that as a precautionary measure, check-in counters were closed and all departures from Terminal 1 were suspended due to this event. “We sincerely regret this disruption and apologize for any inconvenience,” he said.

Flights cancelled
