One dead and another hospitalized after shooting on Mimosa Avenue, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured and another dead.

At around 7:04 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting on Mimosa Avenue near Harrell Street.

When police arrived, they found that two people had been shot.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The other victim was taken to hospital in critical condition.
