Thug attacked person in brutal attack with wine bottle

In a brutal attack, a man hit a person on the head with a wine bottle.

Bradley Garrett entered the property in Burchetts Close, Haywards Heath, uninvited with a bottle of wine.

He then hit the resident of the apartment with the wine bottle, causing it to break.

During the incident on October 8, 2023 at around 10:30 p.m., a brief argument occurred between the victim and Garrett.

The victim suffered a serious facial injury.

Garrett was arrested on October 24, 2023 and later charged with aggravated assault under Section 18.

The 22-year-old, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 18 months in prison when he appeared at Lewes Crown Court on June 17.
