Election results | Houston, Laurens, Baldwin and Monroe Counties

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — There were a number of runoff elections in Middle Georgia on Tuesday.

In the first round of voting on May 21, none of these races reached the 50% threshold to avoid a runoff. For this reason, voters returned to the polls on Tuesday to put an end to these underdetermined races.

Here’s a look at how residents in races in Baldwin, Monroe, Houston and Laurens County voted in Tuesday night’s runoff:

Coroner Monroe

Mark Goolsby: 63%, 1,495 VOTES

Joey Proctor: 37%, 880 VOTES

President of Monroe

Grégory Tapley: 33%, 792 VOTES

James Gibbs: 67%, 1,616 VOTES

Houston County School Board, District 7:

Clyde Jackson: 52%, 4,423 VOTES

Angel Brown: 48%, 3,190 VOTES

Baldwin District 4 Republicans

Jack Wright: 47%, 465 VOTES

Andrew Strickland: 54%, 535 VOTES

Baldwin District 5 Republicans

Scott Little: 71%, 516 VOTES

John Westmoreland: 29%, 209 VOTES

Laurens Tax Commissioner

Darla Brown: 64%, 1,910 VOTES

Tim Aldridge: 36%, 1,081 VOTES

Laurens District 2 Republicans

Lawton Kemp: 51%, 556 VOTES

Keith Oliver: 49%, 529 VOTES
