Fatal accident on US 52 claims one life in Williamsburg Co.

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCBD) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a crash left one fatal Thursday evening.

Police reported that the accident occurred at 10:22 p.m. on Highway 52 at Coleman Road. A 2019 Ford F150 was traveling eastbound when it was struck by a 2018 Kia Sol traveling west.

According to officials, the driver of the Ford was not injured, but the driver of the Kia was pronounced dead.

The Williamsburg County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the deceased.
