Woman found dead, her children missing in Loranger

LORANGER, Louisiana (WGNO) – Two children are missing after their mother was found dead in Loranger on Thursday, June 13.

According to Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards, officers were investigating a homicide on North Cooper Road where 35-year-old Callie Brunett was found dead in her home.

Officials said Brunett had been missing for 24 hours. Her two children, six-year-old Jalie and four-year-old Erin, are also missing, as is her 2012 Chrysler 200 with license plate number 859GML.
