One dead and one injured in shooting in North Oak Cliff on Tuesday evening

Authorities are investigating a shooting Tuesday night in the North Oak Cliff neighborhood that left one man dead and another injured.

At around 10:35 p.m., Dallas police responded to a call about a shooting at the intersection of Winnekta Avenue and West 12th Street. The preliminary investigation revealed that someone fired shots at two men from a vehicle, police said.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital, where one died and the other is in stable condition. Police had not released the identities of either victim as of 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
