Conway man charged with sexually abusing an intoxicated minor

CONWAY, SC (WPDE) — A Conway man is accused of sexually abusing a minor after police responded to the report on Saturday.

According to online records, Daniel Anthony Orlando is accused of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor between the ages of 11 and 14.

A Horry County officer responded to a call Saturday to a home on Singleton Ridge Road in Conway, where he spoke with the juvenile victim.

According to the incident report, the victim told the deputy that Orlando “raped” her while she was drunk around 8 p.m. Friday night.

Orlando was released on bail from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
