Men charged with public nuisance at TJ Maxx, BJs and Sam’s Club in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Four men were charged with public nuisance after incidents were reported near a school and at TJ Maxx, BJs, Sam’s Club and other Fayetteville locations.

Justin Chaplin, 27, was charged with five counts of public nuisance for incidents at TJ Maxx and several other locations, according to police. He was given a $75,000 bond and remains in jail. Tips from the public and surveillance video showing Chaplin in his white Ford Focus led to his arrest.

Rodeny Valoy, 35, was charged with public nuisance for an incident at BJ’s after a man was reported engaging in lewd acts at the store. He was given a $2,000 unsecured bond.

Malik Tuff, 23, was charged with public nuisance after an incident was reported at Sam’s Club. Tuff remains in the Cumberland County Jail on $2,500 bail.

Anthony Munoz, 24, faces a misdemeanor charge for an incident in downtown Fayetteville, just yards from a school, according to police. Munoz has not yet been arrested.
