Woman killed, man injured in car crash in East Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – A woman has died after an accident in the far east of Indianapolis.

An IMPD spokesperson said an SUV and a go-kart were involved in the crash. When officers arrived, the adult female and adult male who were driving the go-kart were at the scene, but the driver of the SUV was not present.

The woman’s death was pronounced at the scene. The male victim was taken to hospital in critical condition, where his condition has since stabilized, according to police.
