El Paso police ask for help in finding drive-by shooter who endangered child

El Paso police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) in a drive-by shooting that left a child in danger.

The El Paso Police Department and Crime Stoppers of El Paso are asking people to come forward if they know the identities of the suspects who shot at a home on the corner of Branon Street and Rushing Road near the Richard Burges Branch of the El Paso Public Library in northeast El Paso.

According to police, the incident occurred on Friday, May 17, at around 10:18 p.m.

Although no injuries were reported, the shooting damaged the house and put the residents, including a child under the age of 10, in danger.

Investigators believe the suspect(s) were driving a red or orange Dodge Challenger with chrome rims and tinted windows.
