FIRST WEATHER WARNING DAY: Storm continues

The threat of strong to severe storms will persist through Sunday evening. It is very important to monitor the weather forecast and have a severe weather plan in place.

Tonight until Monday night

Our final round of potentially strong to severe storms will move across the region through Sunday night. There is a Level 2 and 3 risk of severe weather, and all types of severe weather are possible. The peak time period for this final round appears to be midnight to 5 a.m. There are several ways to get warnings.

There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms through Memorial Day on Monday, but we don’t expect severe weather. However, you may need an umbrella for your outdoor activities. Highs will be between 25 and 27 degrees.

Isolated rain showers cannot be ruled out until Monday night, but we expect drier weather. The lowest temperatures overnight will be just over 10 degrees.

Better weather on the way

We are expecting fantastic weather towards the end of May.

The sun returns on Tuesday. Maximum temperatures will be between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius, and minimum temperatures between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius.

A copy and paste forecast is in place for Wednesday. Temperatures will reach the mid 70s and lows will be back in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

For Thursday we expect drier, predominantly sunny weather. Maximum temperatures will remain above 25 degrees, while minimum temperatures overnight will be between 8 and 10 degrees.

The last day of May is Friday and we expect drier, mostly sunny weather. Highs will remain above 25 degrees and lows will fall to the mid to low 10s.
