AMBER Alert after abduction of 10-month-old child in Scott County, Virginia | WJHL

SCOTT COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) – An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 10-month-old child who was abducted from Scott County, Virginia, according to state police.

The Virginia State Police (VSP) and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse issued an alert for infant Cedar Samuel Griffith on behalf of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.


Cedar was allegedly kidnapped on Monday at 8:18 p.m

VSP reports that Cedar was believed to have been kidnapped by Ashley Jordan Griffith, 30.

Cedar is considered “extremely endangered” and was last seen in Gate City on Daniel Boone Road. Ashely Griffith may be driving a blue 2005 Lexus RX330 with an unknown temporary Tennessee tag.

Cedar is described as being 30 inches tall and weighing 20 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Ashley Griffith is 5 feet 6 inches tall. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes.
