15-year-old set on fire by mother after mother’s boyfriend sexually abused her multiple times with mother’s consent

Police say the 40-year-old mother, later identified as Latonia, and her 41-year-old boyfriend, later identified as Terence, set the woman’s child on fire and then shot her. They were both arrested and charged with multiple crimes.

The 15-year-old girl, whose name has not been released due to age reasons, was shot twice by her mother and boyfriend before they drove with her to another state.

Police began investigating after a car accident last month. Police arrived and found the 15-year-old child in the back seat with his 41-year-old friend who had a gun in his hand.

The girl was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors discovered that she had been shot twice and had severe burns all over her body.

The mother’s boyfriend is said to have told police that he shot the child after a fight during the first interview. The 41-year-old man also told police he had sexually abused the 15-year-old girl for months. The girl’s 41-year-old boyfriend also told police that she had suffered burns two months before the shooting but that her mother was “taking care of her” at home.

According to L&C, another child in the same car told police that she saw Latonia holding her 15-year-old daughter with alcohol and a lighter before setting the girl on fire. The girl also said the 15-year-old victim was shot twice.

The mother’s boyfriend also revealed that his girlfriend burned her daughter because she believed the 15-year-old was responsible for her boyfriend’s sexual abuse.
