National relay honoring fallen service members and first responders passes through Atlanta today – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Ahead of Memorial Day, the national organization Carry the Load will travel through metro Atlanta on a 20,000-mile tribute march to honor fallen service members and first responders.

Carry the Load has been working to “restore the true meaning of Memorial Day” since 2011.

In doing so, the organization created five routes across the 48 contiguous United States “to honor and remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.”
