We’re observing cooler, pleasant weather this weekend

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – After a stormy Thursday night into Friday morning, conditions are much calmer this Friday afternoon and evening, and that trend will continue into Mother’s Day weekend.

Today the sun returned throughout the day and temperatures were cooler, only warming into the upper 70s to lower 80s. Tonight will be calm and clear, lows will be in the 50s to 60s, and north winds will reach 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Beautiful weather is expected for Mother’s Day weekend.

Saturday brings lots of sunshine and lower humidity levels. North winds will be blowing at about 5 to 10 mph and highs will warm to 80 degrees on both sides. Low temperatures will be clear, in the 50s and 60s with light to calm winds.

There will be a few more clouds on Sunday. Highs will warm into the lower 80s under partly cloudy skies. There will be a light wind blowing at a speed of about 5 miles per hour during the day and into the night. On Sunday night the clouds will thicken and the low temperatures will be below 60 degrees. A shower is possible but most will be dry.
