Photos released showing model of future Buffalo Bills’ home

The future of the Buffalo Bills organization is already bright, and the ongoing construction of their new stadium only makes it even brighter.

The new Highmark Stadium is expected to open in time for the 2026 NFL season. For now, the new stadium is affectionately called The pit because, well, that’s exactly what it is.

Take a look at the current status of the project, via the Bills YouTube page:

For now, we can only imagine what the finished product will look like. Sure, we’ve seen 2D renderings circulating online, but it’s hard to truly imagine a 60,000-seat stadium based on a flat image on your phone.

However, recently, photos of a mock-up of the stadium were released, giving fans the best look at the future home of the Buffalo Bills:

Some fans (myself included) are still a little confused as to why the stadium has most of a roof, but not all of a roof. The curved roof design is intended to block the wind for most people in the building, while preserving the tradition of cold, snowy weather at Bills games.

No matter how you feel, it’s great to see a 3D example of what the finished product will look like. In two short years, this dream will finally become a reality for Bills Mafia.
