Two found dead in Crockett Co. home, TBI investigating

CROCKETT, Tenn. (WMC) – The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office found two people dead Thursday evening.

CCSO found two people dead in a home on Highway 88 between Alamo and Maury City.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was called to the scene.

“The investigation is at a very early stage and we can only release very limited details at this time. Due to the limited availability of facts at this time, we believe this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public. This is a tragic day in our community and our thoughts are with everyone affected,” said Sheriff Troy Klyce.

The cause of death is currently unknown.
