Pedestrian seriously injured in early morning accident in Trenton

A serious incident occurred in Trenton early Saturday morning when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured.

The accident occurred around 2:45 a.m. at 677 South Broad Street.

After several emergency calls about an injured person, police and emergency services quickly arrived on the scene.

They discovered an unidentified person with serious injuries lying on the ground after being hit by a car.

Emergency services immediately transported the victim to a regional medical center for treatment and expect him to recover.

Authorities reported that the driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and cooperated with the ongoing police investigation.
