Russian attacks leave four dead and 17 injured in Ukraine, hit Swiss NGO office in Kharkiv

At least four people have been killed and at least 17 injured, including children, in Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past 24 days, regional authorities said on the morning of July 24.

Russia launched a missile attack on Kharkiv hit the office of a humanitarian organization at about 5 a.m. local time on July 24, said Governor Oleh Syniehubov.

“Today at 5 a.m. the Russians hit the office of the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action FSD with a ballistic missile,” Syniehubov said on Telegram.

An industrial building, five cars and a house were also damaged. Mayor Ihor Terekhov initially spoke of one death, but later said this information could not be confirmed.

The attack was carried out with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and another missile of unknown type, the Air Force said.

Two men, aged 41 and 18, were reportedly injured in a Russian drone strike on the village of Lisne around the same time.

Three children were injured in a Russian drone attack on Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on July 23, said Governor Serhii Lysak.

Russian attacks on the Nikopol district in recent days have damaged residential buildings, energy infrastructure and other property, he said.

In Donetsk OblastThree people were killed and three injured in a Russian attack on Lyman, Governor Vadym Filashkin reported.

Three others were injured in attacks on Marynivka, he said.

Russian attacks against Kherson Oblast One person was killed and two injured, said Governor Oleksandr Prokudin.

The body of a 77-year-old woman was found after midnight in the rubble of a Russian attack in Kherson, he said.

Russian drones attacked a port in Izmail district Odessa Oblast overnight, injuring three people and causing property damage, Governor Oleh Kiper said.

Romania alerted its F-16 fighter jets after detecting Russian drones near the Romanian border.

A civilian was injured in the municipality of Myropillia in Sumy Oblast On the night of July 24, the regional military administration reported.

The Chernihiv, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions were also attacked, but no casualties were reported.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukrainian forces shot down 17 of the 23 Shahed attack drones overnight, most of them targeting Odessa.
