Woman dead, man seriously injured in shooting in Orange County

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said a woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after a shooting occurred early Sunday morning. According to OCSO, officers responded to a residence on Waverly Walk Drive shortly after midnight where a shooting had occurred. When they arrived, officers found two people inside the home who had been shot. A woman in her 30s was pronounced dead at the scene. A man in his 30s was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. OCSO said his gunshot wound appeared to be self-inflicted. OCSO said the incident was a domestic incident and there is no threat to the public.

According to OCSO, officers responded to a residence on Waverly Walk Drive shortly after midnight where a shooting had occurred. When they arrived, they found two people shot inside the home.

A woman in her thirties was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man in his 30s was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to OCSO, the gunshot wound appeared to be self-inflicted.

The OCSO stated that this was a domestic incident and there was no threat to the public.
