New GoFundMe launched to support two Cold Scorpios after stabbing and arrest

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help former WWE, WCW and ECW legend 2 Cold Scorpio.

Last month, Scorpio was arrested for an incident that occurred while he was working as a security guard. He and an assailant got into a physical altercation in which both men suffered stab wounds when a knife was wielded. Scorpio’s wrestling tour in Japan was canceled due to the arrest.

Today, Shirley Black released details of the incident, explaining that she and Scorpio need financial help because Scorpio can no longer work due to the injury and arrest.

My name is Shirley Black, I am better known as the other half of Too Cold Scorpio.

While wrestling fans around the world know him for all the joy and entertainment he has given them over the years, we now come to you for your help and kindness.

If you have ever had the opportunity to meet Charles Scaggs (Scorpio) outside of the ring then you know that he is the ultimate gentleman, kind, selfless, fiercely loyal and a man of great integrity.

As professional wrestlers get older, the work slowly becomes less frequent and less frequent. That’s why he has pursued a second career in security. He has trained hard to get his security license.

Recently, while working as an armed security guard for a licensed security company (Kansas City Ultimate Security Inc.), he found himself in a very unfortunate situation. A person who appeared to be under the influence of drugs was asked to put out a cigarette in an enclosed space where it was prohibited.

Scorpio explained this and if the man had listened to him it would have been over. Instead he became very aggressive and combative. When they met outside, the man attacked Scorpio, shouting that he was an MMA fighter. Mind you, Scorpio is an armed security guard. While he refused to use his firearm despite having a permit to do so, a knife was used and both sustained cuts, with the attacker taking the brunt.

When the police arrived, they did not give Scorpio the opportunity to file a charge of assault. Instead, he was arrested and charged with a serious crime.

And now we’re sitting here, depressed and desperate; desperate enough to contact all of our family and friends, his friends and fans. He’s a proud man and this is very hard on him.

Since this incident, Scorpio has been unable to work full-time as a security guard. This job was his primary source of income and he will not be able to work in security again until he is cleared of the charges.

We just found out that Kansas City Ultimate Security Inc. did not have workers’ compensation insurance nor did it offer him health insurance.

A month has passed and the medical bills are coming in. Scorpio suffered a severe concussion and needed several stitches on his left thumb. Now he is having problems with his eyesight, but with no accident insurance and no health insurance, there seems to be no way out.

We ask for donations big and small, because at this point anything can make a crucial difference in proving Too Cold Scorpio’s innocence and getting him the medical care he really needs.
