There may be occasional rain next week

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Skies have cleared this Thursday evening and we will enjoy cool but comfortable conditions the rest of the night. There will be sunshine again on Friday morning, but there is a chance of rain showers again in the afternoon.

Highs will rise into the mid-70s, and after 3 p.m. there will be a line of scattered showers and storms north of the metro. These move to the S and we dry out behind them. The most likely window for the subway is 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Saturday will be sunny and warm with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. It will be the best weekend day for nature and a great day to get your garden going if that’s on the agenda for you. Mother’s Day won’t be a bad day, but we expect light showers in the afternoon.

The chance of rain increases Sunday night into Monday and it should be clear Tuesday morning.
