2 children missing after woman found dead in Sacramento home

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Police are trying to reach the father of two children who disappeared after a woman died in a Sacramento home.

According to Sacramento police, officers responded to a 911 call in the 3700 block of Didcot Circle shortly before 7:30 p.m. on July 8.

The police found a woman in the house who was eventually pronounced dead.

Detectives went to investigate the death, but during the course of the investigation they were unable to locate the woman’s two children, four-year-old Athena Lee and two-year-old Mateo Lee, or their father, Cameron Lee.

A police spokesman said the children were considered missing, but that they were just trying to talk to Lee. They were trying to reach him to find out where the children were.

According to police, Cameron may be driving a gray 2023 Honda Passport with license plate 9JUS091.
