Police officer injured in stabbing in Kansas City, Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Police in Kansas City, Kansas, are searching for a man who stabbed a police officer late Sunday night.

According to police, an officer had just started his shift when he was approached in the parking lot by a man who was behaving strangely.

According to police, the man attacked the officer with a sharp object.

According to police, the officer suffered two non-life-threatening stab wounds before fleeing the scene heading north.

He was not found.
