Norfolk shooting: Man and police officer injured, officials say – The Virginian-Pilot

A man and a police officer were injured following a shooting in Norfolk on Saturday, according to Norfolk police.

Police said they received a 911 call around 3:22 p.m. and responded to the 3800 block of Arcadia Street. A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot by an officer, police said.

An officer was shot and suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

Police say the suspect is in custody and further details will follow as they become available.
