Five Palestinian journalists killed in Gaza within 12 hours

According to the Gaza Strip’s state media office, this brings the number of Palestinian journalists killed since the beginning of the Israeli war to 158.

In two Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip, five Palestinian journalists were killed within less than twelve hours.

According to the Palestinian territory’s state media office, this brings the number of journalists killed since the start of the Israeli war against Gaza in October to 158.

Early Saturday, Israeli forces killed three journalists – Amjad Jahjouh, his wife Wafa Abu Dabaan and Rizq Abu Shakian – in a bomb attack on a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

On Friday evening, two Palestinian journalists, Saadi Madoukh and Ahmed Sukkar, were killed in an Israeli attack on the Madoukh family home in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City.

Israel has been waging a brutal war against Gaza since October, killing at least 38,098 people, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.

Hospitals, ambulances and residential buildings were attacked and infrastructure destroyed.

South Africa has accused Israel of genocide in Gaza before the International Court of Justice. Israel denies the accusation.
